Vale Web Design was hired to perform an analysis of ASP code in use at a department in Oxford Univeristy which had problems with SQL injection.

SQL injection occurs when security holes are left in code which allow hackers to manipulate the database behind the website by adding SQL commands into the address bar of their browser.

Our developers created a report of all of the problem areas before proceeding to fix the code to prevent further attacks. We also recommended that an upgrade to the newer ASP.NET technology would be advantageous as it has many security features built in from day one.
